Adler University
Adler University is a private graduate institution in Chicago, Illinois, focused almost entirely on psychology and social practice. Courses include clinical psychology, counselling, forensic psychology, public policy and art therapy, and most of them lead to a master's or a doctorate rather than a bachelor's degree.
The school traces its approach to Alfred Adler and builds community service hours into the curriculum, so students place with Chicago agencies as part of the degree. There is a second North American campus in Vancouver and an online campus, and international students apply to a named programme rather than to the university in general.
