After you land
Post-Arrival Support for Indian Students Abroad
Your first weeks abroad decide how quickly you settle. We stay in touch after you land, help you finish the setup tasks in the right order, and are a familiar voice when something does not go to plan.
- Airport pickup coordination
- First-week checklist
- Part-time job guidance
- Check-ins in your first semester
What should you do in your first week abroad?
In your first week, complete university enrolment, collect or activate your residence document if your country requires one, register your address where the law asks for it, get a local SIM, open a bank account and register with a doctor. These steps unlock everything else, from part-time work to rent payments.
Each task depends on another: a bank may want proof of address, a job may need a tax number, and a tax number may need a registered address. Doing them in the wrong order costs days. We give you a sequence for your country and city before you fly, then check in once you arrive.

Post-arrival support: frequently asked questions
How long does post-arrival support last?
Our check-ins run through your first semester, when most setup problems happen. You can still reach your counsellor after that if you need help.
Can international students work part-time abroad?
In most popular destinations, yes, within limits set by your visa, usually a fixed number of hours per week during term and more during official breaks. Limits differ by country and course level, so follow the conditions on your visa.
What if I have a problem with my accommodation after arriving?
Contact your counsellor straight away. We help you raise the issue with the provider in writing, understand your contract and, if needed, find an alternative.
Do you help parents stay informed?
Yes, with the student's permission. Many families value a short update once the student has arrived and settled.
